Okay, here is the long-awaited pic of Jacob Ryan, Elize's little boy. Elize said that he looks exactly like Roger, but I think that he got some features from Elize too, don't you think? Especially the eyes.

Nagkita kami sa SM Edsa ng mga 8:30. Si Tentay galing Dermstress Fairview at si Zarah lumuwas pa ng Cavite, nag stop-over sa Caloocan sa apartment ni Ela, bago dumiretso doon. Nagkawalaan pa kami kasi etong si Zarah na wala ding sense of direction ay wala nang ibang masabi sa amin kundi "Andito ako sa ground floor somewhere". Haaay. Eventually nag meet up kami sa Chef Donatello's sa second floor near Cinema 1234. Para kaming mga donya dun na humihingi ng menu at naghihintay ng waiter e parang Chef D'Angelo's pala yun na pay as you order sa counter. Tanga. Yung dalawa, nag-order ng pizza at Seafood Marinara. Ako, mushroom soup at Seafood a la creme. Si boyfriend, pizza-chicken-spaghetti meal. Wala, puro lang daldalan at tawanan at asaran. At siyempre picture-taking. Afterwards, hinabol namin ang last full show ng Bewitched. Maganda ang move, kakatawa. Ang ingay ulit namin sa loob. Si boyfriend nakatulog for almost 3/4 of the movie. 1130 na nang natapos. Hinatid nalang namin si Tentay sa other side ng EDSA para mas madali for her makauwi sa Pasig. Si Zarah umuwi with me, nag-hi kina mommy at daddy, at natulog sa room ko. Grabe, sa sobrang kadadaldal eh di kami natulog until 5:30 a.m. Natawagan pa namin si Shalee ng mga 12:30 a.m. at nakipagdaldalan over her department phone kasi duty siya at the time. Siyempre nag iimbita siya ulit ng gimmick sometime. Sana matuloy kasi malapit na din ako maging busy. Zarah was awake again by 7, parang engot, while I woke up 8 a.m. By that time nakaligo na siya at bihis na. Chika chika over the breakfast table, tapos uwi na siya. Haay, I miss the good old days with the friends.

WHAT'S GOING ON??

1. Zarah has been moonlighting at Unciano hospital on Sta. Mesa, and at PE clinics for OCW's at the UN. She's leaving for Hongkong on the 22d with Albert and Yeo so they can take their NCLEX test on the 23rd. Afterwards...they'll probably have their papers processed for the States. Zarah wants to practice nursing for a while only, and then come back for OB-GYN residency.
2. Christine has been taking up nursing with Roy, and relieving at the Dermstress clinic in Fairview. She'll probably graduate by October or March, while Roy will graduate a semester later. Afterwards, she's planning to go to the States to practice nursing. However, she's also considering Australia for residency training next year.
3. Shalee is still an IM resident at Chinese General, however she's been having second thoughts lately. She might just finish the year, then go to Australia for training next year with Christine, or transfer to Capitol. This is one girl who's always game for a gimmick when she's not on duty, and she's not above chatting with her friends on the department phone.
4. Riv is taking up GS at de La Salle, Dasma with an every other day duty shift. Her partner quit, so she's the only one left. The replacement first year mid-termer is older than her, and a batchmate of her seniors. He tended to be arrogant; however, she very smartly put him in his place. Viva forever Riv!!
5. Betsy is planning to apply for Derma residency in UST.
6. Pao was planning to apply for IM residency in Chinese Gen; however his mind seems to be changeable lately, so we're not really sure if he's pushing through with this.
7. Julia is going to take the Med boards this August, along with Nishi. Let's cheer them on.
8. Cecille has applied at Capitol, Cardina, and Medical City while waiting for MLE. Gigay and Joy are also planning to apply at multiple hospitals. Cecille doesn't know which one she prefers yet.
9. Briggs is taking up MLE full time now, having quit surgery moonlighting so he can study more.
10. Poly is in the US bumming around while waiting for her immigrant visa to be processed.
11. Ela is studying for the MLE, and is planning to get married soon. Poor...este...congrats, Bert!
12. As we all know, Jim and Justine have already married and are residing in new Jersey. Let's hope they're having a good start to their conjoined life.
13. Vans is studying for his MLE while working part-time as a nurse at New Jersey. At least his family is already there.
14. Anne Mae and Antonette already took their MLE step two last August 9, so they'll be leaving for the States soon to process the third step. We're not worried about this two, as they'll certainly end up on the top percentiles.
15. Pats is currently in the States processing her MLE step three (wearing my blazer, hehe, which I hope will bring her luck!)

Okay, to all of those who still don't know...Elize has already given birth to her son, Jacob Ryan! She had a caesarean section last July 26, 2005 because of failure of descent. Big baby daw :) Anyway, she says that he looks just like Roger and is very adorable! Siyempre naman din. I gather that she's very tickled with being a mom. Anyway, congrats Elize and Roger! May you have many more kids!!

Okay, for those who have been worrying about Racquel, as I have, we have some very good news. Yes, she did have an episode of threatened abortion a few weeks ago, but she's fine now and so is the baby. Right now she's three months going on four. I asked her for a picture that I could post and she said that she'd find me one. That's all folks! Let's all pray that she continues to term safely :)

To all of you friends out there wondering who that cute guy next to Backy is, here's the deal: it's Keech, her sweetie! I think they've only been together for a few months, but looking at them now, one can safely say that they've got what it takes to stay forever. They even look alike! So close that gaping jaw and stop shrieking, like what Cel did during my birthday when I first told her that Backy had a boyfriend hehe. Haaay, we really are getting old! Boyfriends and babies and wedding bells! I guess we'll be expecting a spate of christenings too, as well, starting with Elize's! On that note, I wish we could hear about what's happening to Joy and Racquel these days. I haven't heard from them for a long time now, although I do have a picture of Joy's adorable little boy Aidan. I'll try to get her permission to post that pic as well.

Anyway, to you, Backy and Keech...good luck and good fortune!
